Default Go Baby-what's the difference in the dies with th Accuquilt Go?

Am seriously considering getting a Accuquilt cutting machine. Can the dies and mats for the Accuquilt Go be used on the Go Baby? Also, if I upgrade to the Go, will the dies from the Baby work on the bigger one? Just wondering what my options are. I anticipate usage to be limited to only two or three dies, circles and some squares, maybe the sunbonnet girl later on.

I have the Go and just upgraded to the Studio. The baby dies can be used on the Go but not the other way around at least for most of the dies since the Go dies are bigger and won't fit through the baby cutter. Warning though if you start with one applique die you are hooked....lol it just makes the blocks go much much faster. I just ordered a flip flop custom die for my studio and can't wait to make the quilt :-)

The dies and mats for the Baby will work in the GO. The dies and mats for the GO will work in the Baby only if they are no more than 6 inches wide. If you are considering getting one, I would get the GO. I have it and the Sizzix Big Shot Pro. I use the BSP more because I can use most of the Studio dies in it and it is easier to use the hand crank. This web page will tell you the specifics of the Accuquilt cutters (the size of the dies they will use, etc.). http://www.accuquilt.com/fabric-cutter-comparison

My opinion is go for the GO. The baby dies will still work in it, plus you get the bigger dies in the GO!

DH got the Go Baby and several dies for Christmas. My major concern was the price of the Go cutter. I decided I would most likely use the cutter for 12.5 inch blocks so I got 3" and 4" triangles and rectangles. Plus the hexies. So far it has worked for me.
