when picking the side you also may want to think of how complex the blocks are that you make--when I was thinking about doing Bonnie Hunters' last yr mystery quilt, I figured out that many of the cuts for the 12" block needed to come from a 6 or 8" Qube as she uses blocks that have 20+ pieces in them.
the Qubes came out about a year after I got my Go, so investing in a Qube made lots of sense.

I buy my dies individually, when they are on sale or when i need them, from amazon where shipping is free (prime). Over time, I have most combinations of blocks and sashings. I use my go for some cutting of every quilt. You wont be sorry no matter which way you decide.

I also had many dies and had all of them already to make the 12" cube set so I just bought the 12" companion set. I then bought the 9" cube and companion. That one has the 5" die in it. I figured that I would then have a lot of shapes that would match Charm packs or could make my own. As for the other dies that Accuquilt makes, I like all the strip ones. I have both the Go Big and the Go baby. I like the baby for taking to sew days or retreats and all the cube except the 12" set work with the Baby. They are really a good bargain. If your not sure what to make Eleanor Burns has two Accuquilt books out that help you understand the Cube's and makes lots of wonderful blocks, some easy some not so..All depending on your skill level.
