I want to finish my horse wall hanging and get my sewing stuff cleaned up. Been looking for a job, so that is taking up way too much time, lol!

Thanks to the dog waking me up early - I've sewn lots of crumb blocks.

Still need to iron and that should be do-able because I'll also be washing clothes in the area.

    GET UP QUILTERS!!!

    8. Plant Colorado Blue Spruce
    9. Repair DH pair of Sunday slacks.
    10. ...and all the other stuff we women do without thinking about.
Most of this should be done by Wednesday so then I will have to think of what else to do.
Ok, here's what I got done:
    #10 - Goes without saying.
#9 - Tried the slacks on DH and he is too big. Goodwill box.
#8 - Still can't decide for sure where to put it. Want it in the ground tomorrow. Did water it twice.
    #7 - Need to do.
#6 - Done and put fencing around them to keep chickens out.
#5 - Got one paw done. He hates it so need someone else to hold him down.
    #4 - Need to do.
#3 - I did pull out the fabric, just couldn't decide on which to use. To do this week.
#2 - Needs binding finished and label.
#1 - AARRGGHH. Was all done cept binding, decided to machine stitch down, checked and rechecked to be sure of everything and pinned it, started sewing, went around corner, good, went to next corner and the dadburn corner did not line up right. Put it down for the weekend.
Started the blocks for the Farmer's Wife quilt. Cut out three and sewed one. Received a lovely gift of teh book for this quilt and a jar of Quilt Wash from my SQA ( at least I think that is who sent it) :-o
Sewed 8 more pillowcases for the challenge. Cooked dinner every night this week. No frozen, no take-out, and tonight DH cooked. Yeah!
    New week tomorrow.

So this week's goal is to FINISH that ironing and maybe try a few Crumb Blocks.

This thread helped my FINISH my ironing. It helped doing a little each day.

I also put together about *30* crumb blocks - those things were addicting. It also *helped???* that the dog woke me up very early and I used that time to sew in a room with him there just to keep him quiet. I also have more blocks in various stages because that's the way I build them.

So today I finished potting the potaoe plants, planted the Blue Spruce, and spent 2 1/2 hours raking, combing, Furminatig , and using Miracle Groom to groom the dogs plus trim nails. Took my plant fertilizers, insecticides, etc. off top shelf in gaage for DH to paint. Did animal chores. That was enough for my back. Rested with the ice on my back for awhile.

Are we starting a new one for this week?
    I'll start.

    Week of July 19th.

Clean chicken coop, clean barn, clean up compost pile area. Finish doll quilts, cut out templates through #10 on the Farmer's WIfe Quilt and piece them, finish Bow Tucks bag, sew Little Dresses for Africa, and at some point I need to clean house, buy groceries, and send off the doll quilts which are both late.

Sew Mom has asked about my Yellow Rose Quilt so here is my confession to everyone. Hope we are still friends! lol

The yellow roses were 2 yards of cheater cloth. I fussy cut them, bordered and sashed them. Sandwiched and quilted and viola: Roses for Heaven
I embroidered "Now I lay me down to sleep..." across the bottom and "Heaven Sent across the top.

Heaven is my daughter's best friend's little girl. She loves roses and this is for her 7th birthday. (sat)
