How about maybe a StartRight frame (is that the name?) that holds your current sewing machine? I think one for Queen Size is only about $600. I don't have one but I'm thinking seriously about it...

The start right with a Juki is on sale for $1500.

    Is that a good price?

I looked and it says it only works for certain sewing machines.

What a sweetheart....and I'm sad for him that they cost so much that he can't fulfil your dream when he really wants to. Mind PM'ing me with that quilter's name and contact info, please? I have quite a few tops and HATE to quilt them.

That sticker shock of a long arm quilting machine will get them every time. My son once told me he'd like to buy me one, then I told him the price - maybe later.
