    I am sorry for your loss too. The three Quilt stores I know of are
    1. The quilt tree on Benson
    2. The quilt zone on Tudor
    3. And Seams like Home in the University center

    If you get out to Palmer and Wasilla there are some neat ones there too.

    I don't think the sticker shock is going to be bad, as she is travelling from Canada. When we were there, we went to Quilt Tree. Eagle River isn't far either and apparently there is a nice shop there.

    Ruskin Tailor's Quilt Alaska in Skagway -----------that was recommended when I cruise there in June.

    I will be in Eagle River, as that is where my family is. So I will check out that quilt store and the ones in Anchorage. Thank you for you well wishes and info!!!

    The one in Eagle River is across Eagle River Loop from Boondocks Sporting Goods. At least it was last time I was there.
