    Smile Going to Las Vegas

My DH and I are leaving tomorrow for a week's vacation in Las Vegas. We were there in 2006 and have been hoping to go back. Now, since he retired from the PD this past January, we finally have the time. Does anyone know of any great quilt shops out there? I might be able to talk him into taking me to one or two, if I let him go shoot a few rounds (just kidding). :-)

There is the Christmas Goose. I think it's on Durango Dr. And there is the Fabric Boutique. There is also one in Henderson.

Christmas Goose has very traditional fabrics, with no batiks. Quiltique in Henderson is wonderful. I go to Vegas once a year, and my sister and I make it a point to go there and spend some quality "quilting sister" time.

Yes, Quiltique in Henderson is great! And there is also a breakfast place in Henderson that was featured on TripleD. It was awesome!

I'm going to Vegas next week and will also be hitting the quilt shops with my girlfriends while the guys do their thing. We usually hit the ones mentioned above and enjoy every minute. Think the Christmas Goose is my favorite of all. A couple years ago I saw something that I really wanted but didn't buy so when we got home called and bought it. They are really friendly and ready to help with any questions you might have.

My husband and I were in Vegas a few months ago and I went to the Christmas Goose-fabulous store. Quite small but alot of beautiful fabric. Lots of Civil War fabric which is what I was looking for. The Fabric Boutique is nice too-it just moved and it is pretty close to the Christmas Goose. Have a great time and enjoy.

We live an hour and half from Vegas and I've never been to any shops so can't help you there. I've been meaning to take a road trip to check them out, but haven't made it yet. My DH and I are both retired from Sheriff's Dept in California. Have fun on your retirement.
