I'm doing the happy dance. DH has a couple of days off so we're heading to Charlotte for a couple of days. We'll look around at some other things too, but this will be my favorite part!

My question also, I'd assume it's a quilt shop, right?

Correct, a large, well stocked fabric store. With great choices and good prices. When I talk to quilters in NC they always mention go to Mary Jo's when you get a chance!

I love Mary Jo's..it has become a regular stop for us on our way to Florida twice a year and this year I got an extra stop because we had the grandkids for 3 weeks and decided to drive them back instead of me flying them home...yipppeeeee.....rough time driving that long with 2 little ones but on our way home..Mary Jo's made it worth it...I go with a list of fabrics now..the only thing I don't like is that they don't keep lines together...makes it a bit of a pain but still great shopping and prices..blessings

The web site does the store no justice...you have to visit...its in Gastonia NC...longcreekmills is just a couple miles away...but for me the site on that one is better....blessings

I just noticed you are from Triangle, NY. I grew up and have family in Earlville!

Thanks for the tip - I'm printing off the web page. Since we're staying overnight I'll have plenty of time to scout around all the fun places.
