This is my first retreat. Just a few good quilting friends from YEARS ago when were all young, had little kids, lived in the country and no $$$. There will be 6 of us meeting in Bandon OR @ one of the gals summer home. I am soooooo (sew) looking forward to it. NO MEN for 1 whole week.....Now-before you get the wrong idea-we all love our men- BUT one whole week of eating when WE want to eat or not eating if we don't want to...or eating dessert and forgetting dinner.... doing what WE want to do WHen we want to! ya get my drift... Oh happy days! lol yippee!

I am sew envious! I have only gone on weekend quilting retreats with about 30 women! We have had teachers come in for special projects and we paid for the rooms and food, so all we had to do was to take care of ourselves! It was WONDERFUL!

Sounds like you need to take some good snacks and specialty teas along and some great girl movies for when you get tired ot want a break. Is there a quilt shop near by to take a short trip to? Or how about gathering up some old photos to share of you all years ago?

This sounds like so much fun. Lucky you!!
