Default Is this a good deal? Good fabric?

I just came across this and wondered if it is the good stuff? It shows that it is Kaufman, but is it THE good stuff? I want the black that does not fade after one wash, and is not thin.

I buy this by the bolt at Hancocks of Paducah. 15 yards. I like to buy the large amount so I know that it will all behave the same.

Kaufman Kona is good fabric. My research tells me that Kaufman Kona is 60 count -- that means it has 60 threads each direction per one inch. However, they advertise it as 4.3 oz. I don't see that in the description. All said, I would trust Kaufman Kona to meet your quilting needs. Looks like you would be saving $1-2 per yard based on what most sites are charging. As far as fading, I having had any of their colors fade noticeably after one washing.

Good luck. The last time they had that offer for white they took more orders than they had fabric. Took them 2-3 days to tell me they didn't have it. Offered me something else for full price. Wnt be ordering from them again
