    Default Good machine?

Hi. This setting machine is for sale in my local classifieds. I know nothing of this brand of machines, would this be good for a beginner?
    Thanks!

I have the 118, pretty much the same machine. It’s an excellent workhorse. I bought a few extra feet for quilting, a walking foot, etc., so I can do everything from piecing to fmq on it. Never had any problems with it. I’ve had it for about 10 years and love it.

Excellent machines for me is a Juki TL series for FMQ. Babyloc Jane for piecing and straight line quilting. Both straight stitch only machines.

I had a used Viking I sewed on for many years and really liked it. I think Viking is a good brand. Is there a way you can look it up and get reviews?
