I need to get some fabric and was thinking that if I can't get to the store, I might try online. But I don't know a good price. I need 1/2 yds or fat quarters. I've never really bought batiks before. I need blues and purples.

I would also welcome any suggestions/recommendations on online sites that are good.

I think I can ask these questions here?! If not, my apologies.

Hi, Cookie at Batikplus is wonderful (I have purchased fabric from her for years). She has the full line of Hoffman Batiks (including all 1985's). She ships out really fast and her prices are great!!!!!

    Good Luck

i like Thousands of Bolts for batiks, they are name brand Hoffman, Kaufman, etc.

i just ordered over 100 yards of hoffman batiks from them and i'm thrilled with the quality - it isn't thin like some discount online stores.

My DH ordered thread yesterday for me from CT and there is NO free shipping to Alaska  This was our first order but I have heard great things about them. We have ordered from Thousandsofbolts.com and they are wonderful!

Fabric Depot.com has nice, good quality batiks - altho they have WAY more in their store than online.

skip Connecting threads,, rather thin these days..

batik plus, sewbatiks, stitch-n-frame.net, webfabrics.net and fabric shack all have great prices, though they have gone up an average of $2yd in the last 3 months!
