good sewing machine stockists in north of England

Can any of my fellow-Brits recommend any particular stockists in South or West Yorkshire, Manchester, Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire? I'm thinking of upgrading my machine and want to find somewhere with a good range of machines and helpful staff who would let me spend time trying different ones. I'm particularly interested in Janomes, but Bernina and Pfaff/HJusqvarna are also possibilities.
