I have the quilters travel companion book. Bought it for $11 -connecting threads I think. I love it. So well worth the cost!! And I'll post on the board for any others stores in specific locations. Everyone is super helpful letting is know what's in their neck of the woods.

I am sure that there are others in all these areas.

There is a LQS in the Franklin Square Shopping Center near Shoe Carnival/Old Navy/Kohl's, sorry I don't know the name, but it is less than 1 mile from Mary Jo's.

We also have Michaels and Hobby Lobby

another suggestion is contact someone on the board here that is near your destination and/or along your route.
The name of the shop is Sew Sew Much.

Here in Hobbs, New Mexico there are no LQS, but there is a good one in Lovington, about 20 miles to the north. It is the Country Store Quilt Shop located on Main Street directly across from the courthouse. Dee Ann also carries Janome machines. I got my 6600P there 4 years ago.

There is a cute LQS over in Andrews, Texas called The Sewing Cottage. It, too, is on Main Street, towards the south end of the downtown area. Norma carries Huskvarna Viking machines. Have been known to drool while standing over the Ruby there!

Tons of eye candy at either store!
