    I have also found on occassion "Iron Off" at Walmart, next to the spray starch. Always try to have on hand...because when you need it....YOU NEED IT.....

    Dryer sheets work great! I clean mine right after I turn it off, while it's still nice n' warm....Make sure you use something to protect your fingers.....Does a really great job, the iron glides right over your fabric...

    When all else fails try plain waxpaper scrunch it up and run it over a hot iron will have to rotate the waxpaper but you should get it all off

    One more idea. Lay a paper grocery bag on ironing board, Spoonful of ordinary table sale, iron over the salt with hot iron, no steam. Then try the dryer sheet.
