So i did a "version" of it, and turns out I don't have enough fabric to do more ... so this is what it looks like:

I will quilt it with a contrasting colour (likely red LOL) so that something pops.
I did however discover the irish chain quilt, so I think I'm going to make a small one with the left over fabric that I have!

Tartan, I'm glad, because I'm not overly thrilled with it LOL I did to the blanket stitch applique around the peels in red thread ... I took the rest of the fabric and made 9 patch squares with them, I'm going to do a mini irish chain. It will be a practice run for a bigger one ... can't believe I've never done one of those before LOL
