They also have a kit to make that table runner...just go to the 'shop' tab. It is beautiful though.

Do you think that "Hot Ribbon Iron-On Applique" product would work for the outlining? I bought some at a quilt show but haven't tried using it yet.

I looked for the book on Amazon and was dumbfounded at what they want for it

Amazon doesn't have it, it is from a third party selling the book on Amazon. Third parties set their own price. I found it on clearance at an online independent book shop. I got the only one they had for $7 and $4 shipping. It really saves money to search online shops.

Hi Lee, I did a quick search for the Hot Ribbon and it looks like it's 1/8" ribbon. It would depend on the width of the ribbon.
The clover bias is 1/4". I found the 1/4 'fussy'...however I do like the idea of the double needle. And if memory is correct after I got it done some one in our quilting group here said 'did ya use a double needle?' yep the duh moment.

Yep, I got mine as a kit back in the day. For $36.00 on sale at a 'southern' quilt shop. Got back up north and my local shop was selling them for $33.00. Since then the price of fabric has gone up and up along with the binding.

And I need to say these patterns are all just stunning! I have seen the tablerunners, pumpkin and christmas, stockings and the angle along with the tree skirts done. Love them all.

I'm with you Amythyst. I see something I love and buy it, but there are so many of those that it just becomes a book or pattern in my collection because I never have enough time to make them.
