Default Got 2 new quilting books in the mail today!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to me .... from me!!!! I got "Sunday Morning Quilter" and "Quilt As You Go {reimagined}" I have only glanced through so far, and I am in love. I am about to get in my recliner and pour over each and every page. I think I am going to challenge myself to make every quilt in Sunday Morning Quilter. What a great way for a beginner to improve her skills.
Can't wait to start this challenge!

Best, well actually only, gift I got today!

Happy Birthday to you. What does Sunday Morning Quilter have in it I've never heard of it. Can you order it by mail? Sue

yes, you can order by mail, I got mine on Amazon. It has 16 modern quilt projects. First glance i like them all. Clean lines and great use of scraps. They seem like very doable and usable quilts, even for a new quilter like me. I saw it on the one of the authors blog too, Crazymomquilts.blogspot.com. Check it out.

Well, a big Happy Birthday Hug to you! A recliner and new quilt books sounds perfect. Add a glass of wine and some chocolate and I am in heaven.

All the best for a great quilting year.

If I celebrate my BD this month, does that mean I have to be older? How about if I just get presents & have cake? LOL! Happy BD to all my fellow August babies!!!
