SusyQ! You just need to put all of those headache quarters in a box and give them to a good friend that will just rid you of all that stress....me!:))I love the 30's and have been collecting them for quit awhile..the whole time looking and looking for the perfect pattern. There was one listed in the April 'American Patchwork & Quilting'...only the one that is on my 'have to do this one' w/my 30's is the August issue. You can find it on page 48 the desing is called 'retro crossroads'. If you don't get this mag, then scoot to your local library and check this out. I am too excited to do this one and I think it will be lots of fun. Only I am being really-really good right now and trying to get 2 kid college quilts done in time....I am on the second:0)Keep us posted on what you are going to do...Curious minds would like to know (like me!)Skeat

You could do a sampler of the blocks suggested on this thread.

Eleanor Burns has a book based on 1930's reproduction fabrics - 'Egg Money Quilts'. The book has a couple of sampler layouts and directions for 13 blocks and they look great in those fabrics.

100 FQs? All 30s reproduction fabrics? I am drooling just thinking about them  Can you please post a picture of SOME of them? It might inspire more ideas for you!!

This is going to be a fun quilt! I cannot wait to see what you end up making

Skeat, that quilt is perfect!! It uses the Arkansas Crossroads block which can be set any number of ways for all different looks.
    Here's a 12" block and one setting:http://www.quilterscache.com/A/Arkan...oadsBlock.html
An 8" block and another setting http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/projec...ssroads_1.html
And a coloring page with a different setting http://www.blockcentral.com/arkansascrossroads.shtml
Oh, the possibilities!! May just have to add that one to my list, too, but in civil war repros.

Marcia, here's a couple of pics of the fabrics. I still haven't decided on a design yet, I'm waiting for the American Patchwork magazines to come to my local library.
