That is the sweetest thing I could imagine! A nice roadtrip, new quilt store experience and 12 special fat quarters! Lucky girl! How could you ever top that?

He is definetly a keeper!!! You did tell him that lots of women on here are quite a bit jealous

I was lucky to get a card....mine did keep asking me if I wanted chocolate...(just b/c he wanted to buy some and then eat it  ..he knows I always share...well...except that 1 time I stabbed him with a fork when he tried to snitch a bite of my cake..  )

i got so busy replying that I forgot to congratulate you on your fat quarters!!! I know it's kind of hard for men to figure out what would mean something to a woman, but your hubby certainly took the time and effort to figure it out. Yes, I would say special treatment is deserved. :D

    Hello Janstar -

he definitely deserves the "Quilter's Hero" tee shirt -- have you seen it? I got one for my husband Jack several years ago in Lancaster PA as a TY for his patience going to quilt shops and, when his mobility was better, big shows and actually showing interest in what he was seeing! Your husband deserves one from all of us readers! Did you know about the quilt shop and mention it, or did he even find that on his own? As someone said before me, he's a keeper.

I got pink roses for V- day but since my b-day was this next week my DH but me a quilt book called " Link back to the 30's". I can't wait to try out some of the 1930's patterns in it, since I like heirloom quilts. That is some b-day gift, I wouldn't trade my DH for nothing. But have to wait till the book comes in the mail. DH ordered it online, which he never does!

How wonderful! He was doing what he knew you would REALLY love and what would mean the most to YOU. A very special day to remember. Wow, I've wish all men were like that.

Yea, I have to say my DH is special! He even goes shopping to the quilt shops with me and HELPS pick out fabric for quilts I have to make. He is getting pretty good at getting the right fabric and color too. And he doesn't complain that much! Sometimes I think he is an alien, but then realize No he just an angel instead.

How sweet, the closiest my husband gets to fabric for me is when he has to go to the doctor he sits in the car while I run into Joanne's Fabric. To me this is sweet too.
