I'm so anxious to start using it. I set it up yesterday and was so tired decided to wait until today to try it out. Any tips starting out on this machine will be appreciated. I have a smaller Janome, Sewist 521 and have been very happy with that for my 1st 5 quilts. I'm sure my husband expects to hear it humming soon and I hope to do just that.

Congrats - I've had a 6600 for over 3 years now and I love it - very easy machine to use and always reliable.

I have a 6600 and just love it; you will too. But, what do you mean quilt piecing is mode 2? Never used it, except for fancy stitches.
