Got My Machine!!!

Well I got my sewing machine back from 20 plus years!! wiping it down now!!! But it is sewing backwards!!! the polarity is reversed on the motor! Now what? don't know if I can fix it or not, may need to get a new motor I think...

what do you mean sewing backward? Does the fabric feed backwards, or do you mean the handwheel turns away from you. Some machines did turn "the wrong way". I don't believe it's possible for the polarity to change unless someone physically did something to the wiring of the motor.
