Good for her and good for you for taking the time to show her.
My only daughter isn't interested in sewing either. When my granddaughters came over I had them each sew a tube pillowcase. They didn't want to do anything but step on the foot pedal to start and stop. But when it was done & they got to take it home, they were thrilled. I want them to find out that it can be fun to sew.
