    Default grandmother's fan quilt

I am working on a Grandmother's fan quilt consisting of die cut wedges that I was given.I am not sure thta I would have enough pieces left to do a whole scalloped border, but thought about using the wedge cut pieces in the corners. The thing is, I cannot find anything like I am describing. It would be a coordinating fabric for the sides and top and scallopes for the corners. Does anyone have any thoughts on whther this would work?
