    I'm not there yet, still making my blocks. Was looking ahead to when I would be quilting. Actually the border would have to come before the quilting, haven't thought that through yet.

    Helen, when I made my GFG 21years ago, I hand quilted in the ditch because that was the old way to do it, Pink quilt was 2.5" hexagons, 2nd quilt=Honeycomb was 1.5" so I French Knotted that one every few hex's and piped the edges with cord used for roller blinds. Hope this helps

    Honeycomb is actually a bedspread/counterpane, without batting, just backing on.
