I love orange -
But I think it detracts from the embroidered bridge squares of this piece. I think I might go for a very dark solid brown for the binding.
I think the embroidered squares are nice - and should be kept as the focus of this quilt.

The bright orange is the only pop of color in the quilt and definitely draws the eye to be the focus of attention. I feel the orange set in the piano keys draws the eye away from your blocks and embroidery and is a distraction. It would be better suited as very thin accent border around each block and not in the piano keys themselves. And when I say thin I mean 1/4" exposed so pieced in or as a flange. You can easily use your precut orange strips. Cut them down to 3/4" width to piece in a 1/4" frame or 1" folded in half as a flange. But keep in mind flanges are usually problematic for long arm quilters so they could add to the cost of having the piece long armed.
