Great class
#1
I try to take at least one new class each year to learn or relearn or broaden my quilting "experience". Yesterday I went to a "Hand Quilting without a Hoop" offered by Sharon Stroud. Hand Quilting Sharon's Way. It was one of the best I have attended. I am so anxious to get my redwork piece sandwiched together (need her recommended batting) so I can get started. In the meantime I have my little sandwich to play with. I had not known she was a recognized teacher, author, lecturer. She taught us so much, I'm still trying to put it all together.

Well, the first thing I did when I came home was clear out my old markers, I can never remember which ones erase, wash out, etc., my old 1/4 in quilters tape that was too sticky to use. I bought a new silver prismatic marking pencil & new in-betweens sz 10. I have never used Hobbs Thermore batting. Has anyone????????

Sharon coming to the Austin Quilt Guild next year to do work shops. My girl friend was just talking about her this morning.
