Default Great Estate Sale Finds!

DH & I went to some garage and estate sales today and I got lucky! I found these awesome fabrics, of very nice quality. I got all five yards (minus a tiny corner of one piece) for only $5. I do believe if purchased in a local shop it all would have run at least $40, maybe more!

The Christmas fabric is awesome! It has so many different scenes I may have to use it as a whole and just add borders!

No, starshine. We didn't even make it out of the house before 11 a.m., and most of these sales began yesterday, so I shudder to think of what I may have MISSED yesterday! Just imagine how much money I could have saved DH if we'd gone yesterday instead!!! lol

We also found a matched set of eight oak and cane dining chairs in MINT condition! We figured we could get them for $5 a piece, so instead of making an offer we asked the seller what she wanted for them. She said she usually gets $5 a piece, but since she was closing her sale after today she'd take 30% off, SO...we got all eight chairs for $28. GREAT FIND, and we're HAPPY! All in all, a very nice day of "shopping"!

Ladybug, I'm not sure if it's vintage, but the selvedge is stamped "Wamsutta OTC". I'm not sure if Wamsutta Mills is still in operation.

What I can find says that they are now known as Springs Global, Inc, of SC not in MA any more. Thanks for the information.
