You beat me! I got a 3 by 18 Olfa ruler for $1 at the Salvation Army thrift store last year.

I am so envious!! I couldn't do a single thing without my lip-edge. You were lucky on the pricing - I've found that depending on which Goodwill I go to pricing for crafty items can range from bargain-basement to outrageous. My local Goodwill currently has a bundle of 6 pairs of knitting needles priced at $10 and old skeins of yarn priced at $4.99 each.

Goodwill items here are way over priced. Salvation Army prices are so cheap I always say keep the change.

I have one of those rulers and they are great. You came out good on that one.

I was at our thrift store this afternoon to buy old sheets and flannel blankets. I found 6 sheets, 4 flannel blankets for $12. I use them to practice on my long arm. Fabulous place to buy cotton button down shirts. 100% cotton, 4 for $1 and there's plenty of fabric in one shirt, enough to total 2 fat quarters if you count the sleeves too!

If you live near Raleigh, NC don't read this.♦
