I have used these for years. I purchase mine at the Dollar Tree, when they have them. When they do have them I buy several boxes and you get 8 or 10 bags per box. Must have about 6 boxes in my sewing room.

Here in SC we have the 2 gal. at the DOLLAR TREE. You get 5 bags for a $1.00. I use them a lot for UFO's.

I just bought some of these at krogers last week, I spent yesterday trying to organize a little. I LOVE THESE! Wish I had bought more!

Aren't those big zip lock bags marvelous?!?!?! I store orphan blocks in them....and that's just the start. Check out the Dollar Stores too for great deals on the big zip lock bags....

Yep, love them. Don't put fabric in them, but I store ice in them in case of power failure. And I put patato chip bags, etc. in them to keep fresh.

They seem to come and go (quickly) from our stores. I love them for packing clothing for trips. I'd been looking at Krogers and Walmart, but will expand it to the Dollar stores. Thanks for that tip. I use them for blocks, fabrics, etc with my quilting, too.

I find them handy for mailing things in big envelopes. With snow and rain, you never know what all could get damaged in the mail. I also pack in my pieced tops, binding, and backing when I send them off to my niece for quilting. They work great and because of their thickness, pretty durable also.

For Canadians, these large bags can usually be found at Canadian Tire. We used to buy the for the kids for Girl Guide camping trips to keep their clothes dry.
