We used to use one of the original ones in our quilt shop...sold many because of people seeing how it worked. Ome people really liked it, others didn't for various reasons. Will be interested in seeing the updated newer version they are coming out with. Will depend on how much it is if I will want to get one again.

I can't wait to see what Fiskars brings out. I loved their paper cutter when I was into scrapbooking many years ago.

I use mine often...love it for cutting long strips or multiple layers. I really like it for trimming up before putting on the binding. I really had to hunt to find one a few years ago.

I don't know what could be improved about it. I'll have to get the new one to compare.

True cut makes a similar gizmo in several ruler sizes and you can use the cutter separately. It fits into a gully on the ruler for straight cutting. Haven't tried it but it looks intriguing. Not cheap either. I guess you get what you pay for. I think Donna Dewberry has something similar but much smaller than the preferred 24. I like the June Taylor shape cut. Keeps me out of trouble.

Fiskars is a great Company with great Customer Service. I had a Rotary cutter for about 5 years and the blade would not stay out. I emailed them and they asked for a picture which I sent and they are sending me a new one.
