I can not for the life of me find the thread where the lady bought a new Featherweight but here is one that I think is a great price for one $170!!!

They brought back the moniker and the new machines are really nice. I saw a video on QVC and it has some really nice features like 66 built in stitches and all sorts of gadgets and attachments to make your sewing experience a nicer one. And it is set up for the disabled to be able to use with its auto pilot. Its a very user friendly machine to say the least and you can tote it to classes. Singer really hit the mark when they made this machine!

I dont like new sewing machines but this one is tempting for me to want.

    LOL thats okay!

As far as I am concerned this machine is a 500A in compact form and is really well engineered. It takes a lot to impress me about a new machine! The features are remarkable and I would seriously think about getting one if I went to classes. It would be nice to have and a lot easier to tote around than either of my handcranked 128 or 99's.
