Default Is this a great price????

Was just at our local fabricland (kinda like Joann's). They are having a one day sale, the store was packed. People buying lots. Their fat quarters were on for $3.50, usually $6.50. About the same quality as Joann's (.99). Of course they had lots og $5 a meter fabrics. I made out like a bandit with my half meter cuts.LOL. Of course the real quilters were buying bolts.

WOW. I had heard that fabric was more expensive in Canada but $3.50 is the normal price of a FQ at the LQS in the US. Yes, that was a good deal since it was almost 50% off.

Seeing as my Fabricland regular price quilting cottons are at $19 a meter, it's a great price. Yes, a meter is 4 inches longer than a yard but at $19, I am quilting from my stash or sale fabric.

Yep that sounds good to me too. This is just a short note but I just purchased a few more (6) lingerie bags with zippers. $1.00 a piece. I now have 12. I put the fat quarters and smaller pieces in the bags so they don't get all tangled up with the other fabric if and when you prewash.
