    Thumbs up great repair shops

Was advised by a board member about mastic sewing repair for my featherweight.
    First, thankyou for your advice.
Second, this is one if the only place id frequent again.
Another repair shop right down the road on rt 112 wanted $250.00 to do a tune up andrepair.
This place, mastic repair was only charging me $69.95.
For that ammount, he changes the grease in her, cleans the machine, tunes it up, and gets her running in top shape.
he said someone put the wronge grease in her, so he has to totally clean her up. Said she was running sluggish, but ill have her in a few days. Turn around time is about five days.
if you're on the island and in need of repair, please stop in there. Free estimates too.

Lynnie, I just Googled this- is it Mastic Vacuum and Sewing on Montauk Highway? I am very interested, I go all the way to Queens for sewing machine repairs and it takes four weeks to get the machine back. Thanks for the info.
