I have been lucky and found some great stuff as well at Thrift stores lately----maybe people are cleaning out and donating due to holidays. Anyway, Christmas presents for me.

That's where I found the batting--at the Mile High Thrift Shop. I LOVE that place!
Were you there yesterday?? I was there about 11:30 to 1:00. I usually find great fabric there too. I found a Singer 301 last year for 25.00. Found one last week in a thrift store for 9.95. That makes 3 now I have to get rid of one.

You did great, great, great. I do charity quilts and I just got 3 bundles of fabric, one of them was odds and ends of Christmas material. I love sorting, washing and organizing a great find. Each bundle was $2.97.

Great find. If you sign up for Michael's Knack Club, they send a 40% off coupon every week. They sent a 50% off coupon for Thrusday and Friday only so I was able to get the same batting in Queen size for $7.95 including tax. The quilting items are never on sale so you can always use the 40% off coupon. They also have the same batting in fusable but it's about $7 more.
Thanks for that info! A year or so ago I lucked into warm & natural queen size at joann's for $5 each. I bought all they had and since I'm ridiculously slow, all but one of them are stashed in my closet. lol. I think i got 5 or 6 of them. Once that is gone I'll have to start stocking up on the ones from Michaels.
