Smile Great tip from Fons & Porter

I wanted to pass along a great tip from Fons & Porter I saw this past weekend. A viewer wrote in a tip for keeping your bobbins neat without having threads dangling everywhere.
Use Reinforcement labels for notebook paper holes to hold your bobbin threads in place when storing. Use one of the labels on the top of your bobbin to hold the thread in place when storing your bobbins. It keeps the threads neat and tidy and no more messy bobbins with threads tangled all over in your drawer.
I sure hope this makes sense. If I had any reinforcement labels I would post a photo! They are on my sewing shopping list!!
I have no affiliation with F&P, nor do I claim this super hint as my own.. just passing along a great tip.

You are sticking the label on one side of the bobbin with the thread end under the label?

    Yes....

You wind your thread so that only a lil end of thread is hanging out... Tuck that thread on the 'side' of the bobbin then apply the Reinforcement rings to keep the thread end tucked until you need that bobbin again.

I have been using the small ponytail bands but this would really be better - going to look for them tomorrow.

I just stick a straight pin in the thread and do a figure 8 with the thread end. Not pretty and you can get stuck, but it holds.
