In our guild also, there is a lady who puts together baby quilt kits. There are four of us who help her put kits together. i like the idea of the large size zip bags. Put the guild name on it, request the completed quilt be returned in the bag. The bags from the dollar store are quite sturdy and could be used many times as opposed to the grocery bags. I know some guilds request a donation which helps buy batting and also you must sign for the kit.

I agree with sylviasmom to put the name of the guild on the bag. In our guild and Linus charity efforts, I like to do as much labeling as possible on partially finished projects. It helps to insure that things get back to the group, even though it may take a while. People don't mean to, but sometimes they forget what they have at home. Later when they discover items, they don't always remember what it is or where it came from. Even a contact phone number can help in cases where someone else is cleaning out a sewing room.

Thank you @ Petthefabric & Cybrian for such great ideas. Thanks to everyone responding with ideas. Love this board.
CanoePam - I am a member of our local Quilts for Kids. That's who I make the kits for. I also enjoy just "grabbing" a kit to sew!! Thanks again for all the info.
