Last night our guest speaker was Anne Holte. She is heavily into the Lancaster Diamond Quilt, which was made by a Menonite woman back in the late 1800's. To date, three of these quilts have been discovered that must have been made by the same group, as fabrics and patterns are the same. Spend a few minutes and go the her site and look at the quilt and some of the things Ann has done with the diamond template.

Thanks for sharing! I haven't seen this style of quilt before. It sounds like a fun meeting and speaker.

    Cheers, K

A touch of history to add to our understanding of the quilting art. Beautiful examples of quilts and creativity! Thanks for share this with us.
