Our little guild of about 47 women has lost our meeting space. It is perfect, storage, tables, chairs, kitchen lots of outlets and in a church. So we have been busy looking at other churches but have not had any success YET!

Where do other guilds meet? Any suggestions? Since we don't raise money and just make quilts for charity money is an issue.

    I appreciate your feedback.
    Blessings bunches

Our guild meets at the Senior Center, but this weekend, we are having a workshop at the Library. In our small town, the Senior Center is more like a Community Center. Perhaps you could check into a local nursing home in their multi-purpose room.

For evening meetings we gather at the middle school (old home ec. or art room) Daytimes meetings are held in the upstairs of local town hall. If we meet in summer, we go to individual homes.

One of the Guilds I belong to meets in a library. The other meets in the classroom of a local quilting shop.

Our guild is about the same size as yours and we use the community room at the firehouse. We meet one Saturday a month and they let us have the room all day

We meet in the auditorium of a local school. They have AV equipment that they allow us to use and we have the use of the kitchen as well. They have been very cooperative and accommodating.
