    For me it is too random but I was also thinking it would be a nice way to use up orphan blocks and make a utility quilt. I do not think I would buy a pattern but the pattern does inspire me to use up odds and ends and make my own pattern.

    Yes, I see random, sample blocks along with jelly rolls....the actual pattern must be a nightmare to follow!

    Geri B, the strips are all 1.5" wide except a couple that are 1". I thought of jelly rolls too, but that would be such a waste.

    I'm going to be PP'ing my blocks for Gypsy Wife and would like to know if anyone has found a source for paper template drawings? Otherwise it means a lot of time with graph paper, rulers, etc!!

    I also am pping the patterns and use foundation factory for the small ones and EQ7 for some of the others..I wouldn't think some of the blocks are too hard to do. There's a quiltalong with a tute on Pinterest that has 2 blogs that give a lot of the directions..and the small blocks are repeated.
