    Default Half square triangles

Have u tried the diagonal seam tape from Cluck Cluck Sew? It has changed my life. I no longer draw lines on squares to make half square triangles. You center your corners on the red line on the tape and sew. You don't have to look at your needle, but concentrate on keeping the opposite corner on the red line. Perfect every time.

I bought some but I haven’t used it yet. I haven’t made any projects with HSTs since I received it. I’m looking forward to it, though!

Fyi on a few of the recent videos I noticed Jenny Doan (Missouri Star) had it on her machine too.

I used to use that method with another brand of tape. it worked well. Then I ran out and haven't gotten any more. I hate the drawing on the diagonal method so nowadays I generally just cut the square on the diagonal and carefully sew along the bias. Works fine.

I've used that same method but just using a generic tape...and it definitely saves from having to mark each HST.

Ditto! What a time saver and it should improve accuracy with less squaring up as step number two of making HST.

That looks like a real deal to make half square triangles. Thank you for the idea.

OK, you convinced me. I will get this for the HST's that I don't have dies for. Thanks for the tip.
