The only thing I have planned right now for Halloween is trick or treat bags for the grandkids.

I skip Halloween and go right to Fall. I have ceramic and wooden decorations that I use every year but nothing quilted. But I will enjoy seeing what everyone else does.

Halloween is a favorite around my house! We always decorate inside and out. I think I am going to make some applique towels like these http://www.ericas.com/crafts/37522b.jpg

Another SUPER easy to do project with fall/halloween scraps is take a strand of christmas lights, cut your scraps into 1 1/2 x 6 1/2 inch pieces and then tie them in a knot around the wires of the lights. the closer you tie your knots the fuller your garland will be. if you so choose you can sew little rag figures and add them to the garland in spots. AH HA... I found a tute, http://andbabymakesfive-colleen.blog...-tutorial.html

Two full boxes of baby food jars in three different sizes will be turned into these some time this month. http://recycledcrafts.craftgossip.co...rs/2008/10/19/ If you don't have a baby around, ask on freecycle or craigslist for someone to save you some. We are going to do this as a girl scout project!

Forgot to add, I will also be turning my husband and children into the "Fruit of the loom" guys. An Apple, Green Grapes, Purple Grapes, and Leaves! My sewing machine is going to think I am crazy. lol sewing something other than 100% cotton quilting fabric!

Thanks for the tute on the twinkle light wreath. I don't decorate much fall but it would be perfect for Christmas.

I love making costumes however since my children are adults I no longer have costumes to make. I decided I will make a Halloween quilt. I always make pots of tea and use tea cozies so my project today is making a Halloween tea cozy.

I love halloween decorations. For the past 3 weeks I've collected some halloween fabrics for a quilt. They're all washed and ready to cut up. Since this will only be my second ever quilt, I cannot say it will get done in time for this year (I'm expected to work full time, keep house,...blah blah blah). I will definitely be watching this topic to see what everyone does and get inspired for more projects. Happy Haunting preperations!
