    Default Hancock Fabrics

I've learned so much from people on this board. I asked about Moda Fabrics, and someone mentioned Hancock Fabrics. Are they worth the price?

Hancock Fabric Stores are different from Hancock's of Paducah - which has a catalog with Moda fabric in it.

Hancocks Fabrics is a chain store with crafts, dressmaker fabrics, cottons, fleece, satins, etc. and often a lower quality greige goods of fabric.

Hancocks of Paducah is a different store with a large internet presence and a brick and mortar store. They carry an extensive collection of finest quality quilting fabrics from all the main fabric manufacturers, including Moda. Their sales are pretty good and usually the service is fast and accurate. Their catalogue is droolable!

I met a lady on this quilt board that lives so, so close to me that kept telling me that there was a lady in Clermont, Fl. who sold Mode. My friend said that was out in a cow pasture. She was right. We drove over two cattle guards and through the cow patties but it was worth it. Her main business is Ebay but she does sell from her shop. She has rooms of Moda. I have not looked for her on ebay yet, but the name is Quilter's Anonymous, Inc. It was like being a kid in a candy shop. She and I both love Kanasa Trouble Quilters so we got along great. If you say Moda, she probable has it. She also sells kits, jelly rolls etc. Sandy

I just met the lady yesterday and I am only a customer. Sandy
