I 've heard about Hancock fabrics, has anyone bought from them on line? they have some really great prices. I usually buy from Joanns or walmart, but you can't beat under 2 a yard for some cottons, lots of sales available. Any pros or cons. I have never ordered fabric on line.

I've never bought from them online, but I don't remember ever having problems with anything I've bought from their sale tables in the store.
I am placing my order as we speak. They have the red I've been looking for at a price too good to pass up! Yippee!!! Yahoo!!!

I buy most of my fabric online because I live so far away from civilization! I just make sure it says 100% cotton. Usually the colors are pretty accurate, at least on my monitor. When I first started I placed just a small order to check it out

    Ladies,

There are two Hancock's. There is Hancock's and there is also Hancock's of Paducah. I think both have catalogs, the latter being a free catalog which can be order online.

My experience has been with Hancock's of Paducah which have great items and prices. I purchase all of my batting from them as the $$$ is so good. Their selection of all items is extensive and their color pictures are accurate.

I highly recommend Hancock's of Paducah.

I haven't bought online from Hancock Fabrics...only from Hancock's of Paducah & I highly recommend them! Their catalog is an inspiration on it's own too. :D Here is their URL: http://www.hancocks-paducah.com/
But, I would think that as Hancock Fabrics is a chain, their online fabrics would be just as nice as the ones in the regular stores.

The other hancocks had a lot of clearance fabric on line for under 2 dollars
some really nice fabric. price seems right for those who have shopped walmart, and thats me. A fixed small income just won't stretch much

Can you tell me the difference in the two? I haven't purchasced online yet, but Hancock's Fabric is the only game here in town. Other than Wallyworld for a little while longer.
