    Mumzer, this is how I have been appliquéing also. If I was creating something that would be washed often, I might consider this new method. For quilt projects I don't expect frequent washing...but for garments-----perfect!

    I hand applique too and have never heard of this method. I sure am going to try it! Thanks for sharing. Love this board!
