Great idea. I was at my aunt's place last nite and she had a set of hand embroidered dish towels. She was going to put on the garage sale and I decided to buy them from her. Had no idea what I would do with them, Too pretty to use as a dish towel. Now I know what I will do.. Make a quilt or wall handing. Can't wait to start. Thanks for the idea....

Maybe a quilted wallhanging, it wouldn't get handled or laundered as often :D:D:D

You have me thinking ... I have the days of the week tea towels I embroidered before I was married, still unused. You know ... too nice, and just can't use them! Another set of Quick as a Rabbit, Sly as a Fox, etc. And a third set .. forget what they have. hhhmmm? maybe you just gave me an idea. Mine are probably linen though. And pillow cases too.

Any chance you could get your sister to take a picture so you could show us? Hope so!!

Thanks for all the great input. I won't be so leary of using the dish towels as quilt blocks now. Oh darn, now I think I might just have to go shopping for fabric for this project hehe THANKS AGAIN!
