    Once you have the quilt together where would I look for a local quilter. (Cocoa Beach)

    do a search here on the board for long-arm quilters, there is a list of registered ones - there may be one in your area...or visit a local quilt shop and ask, they usually know a number of them locally and can steer you in the right direction

    If you are looking for someone to hand quit I would find some Amish people and they may do it If it is long arm quilting by machine asking at a quilt shop may be the answer,

    I do hand quilting, I have a UPS account for shipping and it works well. I have done quilting for ladies in FL, PA, MN, and other states.

    Hi Donna,
    Thanks for the reply. I have had a quilt quilted by the Amish NEVER again. This particular lady would not give me a price beforehand. She told me she charged by the thread.
    At the time I thought her price was outrageous so that ended my Amish association with quilts. This was in Maryland.
