Has anyone done hand quilting with thread designed for machine quilting? I'm thinking perhaps it would wear down through the quilting process since it isn't glazed. But . . . ??? I have some I would love to use, rather than having to buy another spool just for hand quilting.

I do use mine, I just cut it shorter than I would if it was specifically for hand quilting , like maybe 12” instead of the 18”

Yes, I used machine quilting thread when hand quilting. I haven't had any problems doing that. I just made sure to run the thread through some thread conditioner (thread magic) or bees wax.
