I've never used binding clips, just folded as I sewed along, but was wondering if the clips are easier on arthritic fingers. Thanks.

Absolutely love then. I too have arthritis and they hold the binding so well. No pins sticking me.

I use the hair clips from the dollar store but kids gave me a gift card to MSQ so am going to order some with my next order. I've seen them and think they will be worth the investment.

I'm also binding clip fan. I don't go all around, just 5-6 clips at a time. It seems like I get a cleaner looking binding when it's finished. And no stab wounds(0:

There was recently a thread about Fusible Thread on QB. I am thinking you lay it on the quilt and then press the binding down. It looks like it is washable. Wish I would have paid closer attention but I think it was by Superior Threads

I normally just fold under as I go along, too, but once I discovered those little clips -- wow! No turning back for me! Definitely worth the investment!

I had the same experience as ctyankee. I never knew what I was missing until I tried them. My hands aren't arthritic, but they did get tired doing binding, and that doesn't happen anymore.

The binding clips are fantastic especially for holding binding in small sections as you sew. It also means fingers are only in one position for shorter length of time.

Yes, it was superior threads grammasharon...the fusible that is. I use the hair clips that snap open and shut when you bend them. Cheap and easy.
