Hand stitching binding
For those of you who hand stitch your binding to the quilt back, do you have a favorite needle you like to use? I can never remember what people recommend and tend to reach for anything handy. I'd like to get whatever needle will do the best job.

I love, love, love my Tulip needles! I think size 10 is what I use.
Between October and December, I hand-sewed binding onto so many customer quilts I actually wore out a needle. I noticed it started squeaking when I pushed it through the fabric, so I pulled out a new needle. What a difference - hot knife through butter! Why do we wait so long to use a new needle, put a new blade on the rotary cutter, break out a new toothbrush, buy new towels?
