sounds good to me...I have found some good deals but struggling with space. I have thought of using the cellar but huddy does not want me working in the cellar. If I get one it will be in my future sewing room which is not very big...good luck..I say GO for it!

As long as it works ... BUT it! You won't regret it.
HandiQuilter has great customer service too. It even looks like it could be updated in the future for the ProStitcher if you want to.
Mine was gently used and I never have regretted it.

I think it retailed for around $600 when it first came out a dozen years ago.
But that's not really relevant. If you already have the table to set it up, and you don't mind only having the small throat area of your domestic machine to quilt in.....
But even for $250, it's almost a bargain. If you quilt 4 or 5 baby quilts that might have been sent out to a LA-er, then you've made your money back.

Its $40.00 to send a full size quilt here to have it quilted....so if you have the room I say GO for it...it will save you money in the long run. I bought a Horizon 7700 since I do not have the room for a frame at this time. I have FMQ'd quite a few quilts already...so its slowly paying for its self and also the joy of doing the FMQ'ing myself instead of having a stranger do it for me...and everyone drooling over the FMQ'ing and say how awesome it is....the one part I did not do myself...I felt awkward saying I did not do the quilting...so from now on I do it myself. Mistakes and all...but I did it. ; )
